Hey, sorry I'm a little late at getting to posts; however you asked for new
focus on the eating situation. Although your doctor may not postpone your
surgery if you do not lose the weight, the thing to remember about this surgery,
is that you only have that "window" of opportunity for the rapid weight loss...
it will get harder, and the weight loss will slow down. By overindulging
prior to surgery, or gaining weight, all your going to do is add more to the
work
you are going to have to do after the surgery and it will make it that much
harder to get to goal. Of course, I am talking the talk more than walking
it...i gained 3 lbs before my surgery..but they say, hindsight is 20/20. I
thought I would never be able to have these foods again so i pigged out..but now
i
can eat everything i was pigging out on before, and i regret that. I wish I
could have been like Lori Anne (((((lori anne))))) and worked hard towards
getting to my goal before I even had the surgery. She will get to her goal that
much quicker because of her perseverance.
Anywyas, that is my 2 cents worth, and believe me I know..its easier said
than done!
