Uric Acid: dietary contribution ?

I've been informed that diet contributes 15 percent of
the uric acid and that basic metabolic processes
contribute 85 percent.
Can anyone provide a source that confirms this.

    Sorry, I was told that by my rumatologist and by another
    rumatologist with whom I consult occationally but I do now know what
    the source of the information is. Actually the number they used was
    closer to 10%.
