shunning & weirdness happens even if you're not MO anymore
unfortunately, there's one particular OA acquaintance(MO) who is
either not happy i underwent wls or that i'm not heavy anymore, maybe
both? i know OA doesn't endorse or reject any particular "cause" but
by the way they were swarming around a girl who shared she was
considering wls, hmmm.

I've noticed that too ... people (especially women) seem to be somewhat petty
about it. I don't understand. I'd think friends would be excited about it but
sometimes it seems they feel threatened by it. I've only lost 15 pounds ... so
it will probably get worse.
