Gout cures on the Internet
I have had three attacks of gout. Presently I am having one and had
one about six months ago. Like most I searched the internet and found
a couple of products. One is Goutcure and the other Purcil. I was
wondering if any of you folks have tried them and if so what has been
the results or sucess. I know we are all different healthwise but was
wondering if any of these products have had good results and how strick
you had to be in your eating habits while using the products.
Appreciate any comments. dave
I tried Goutcure, to no noticeable effect.
But Chris, I read that goutcure was designed to keep uric acid SOLUBLE
not reduce the levels per se.
Did you experience a reduction in symptoms while using GC ?
I didn't. After one course in agony I started allopurinol.
I also have taken Goutcure and had no noticeable effect. But I think their diet had the best effect on me and when I start feeling pain, I definitely go back on it, especially the yogurt, cottage cheese and vegetarian veggie soup. As has been noted in several of these emails, the uric acid level can be normal but you can still have an attack. It's the uric acid crystals that have deposited in our joints that we need to worry about more than the uric acid level in your body. My uric acid has been low for the last 3 months but I still have attacks, some severe.
I am trying Goutcure again (they sent me a free bottle since I said the first did not work) so will see if I can tell any difference this time. I wouldn't spend too much money on these cures but try some things over the counter like MSM, cherry juice extract (pills or concentrate), Noni juice, chondroitin/glucosomine, etc. Good luck!

I looked at a number of the internet gout cures, and the only one
that I really tried did work. Go to www.icuredmygout.org This guy
talks about his years of taking medications over the many years, and
he stumbled on the baking soda treatment. Over the holidays I was
having a severe attack and I was on crutches. I had already been
taking naproxin 800mg / day for swelling in my knee (no connection
with gout) and the pain in my foot and ankle began in the midst of
being on the naproxin. I saw the baking soda (1/4 tsp in cup of
water 4X day) and began. I felt the pain subsiding in 4-6 hours).
Overnight I could again walk on my foot, and 36 hours later I just
had some soreness left. I kept drinking the mixture until I went to
the reumatologist.
I recently went to a reumatologist for testing, all other arthritis
tests were negative. He gave me a 6 day treatment with oral steroids
so I laid off the baking soda, well a week later while I was
traveling I started to get the pain back. Luckily I had taken some
baking soda with me. I began drinking the mixture, and the pain
subsided completely within 24 hours.
I am working on changing my diet like the Doc said, to become more
vegetarian (at least eat more high veggie meals) and will use the
baking soda while monitoring my urine / saliva pH. There must be
something connected to having the pH level more balanced or base.
