Dear Char,
This surgery is like nothing else you've ever experienced. It's not like
the old diets where you give up and just gain it all back plus. At least
it's not for me. My entire way of thinking about food has changed. I don't
crave the old stuff. I'm on a mission to get healthy and thin... my reward:
no more diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, neuropathy, etc.,
etc. I'm no longer in a man's 6X big tee shirt from the He Man shops. I'm
wearing a woman's 1X and it's only been 9 months. The rewards are so great
and, again, as far as I'm concerned, the sacrifice is so little. Go for it.
You'll be glad (ecstatic) you did! Good luck to you...
